Volunteers play an essential role at the Backside Learning Center. Our programs are completely volunteer run; the work we do is possible because of the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Volunteering at the BLC is a great way to make a difference in the community, meet and learn about new people, and help our students learn important skills and feel at home.
Programs at the Backside Learning Center operate on 6-week cycle, with a 1-week break in between cycles. Below is the schedule for 2019.
