Welcome to the Backside Learning Center

The Backside Learning Center enhances the lives of equine workers by providing education, life skill resources and community.  We do this by offering relevant learning experiences, diverse social opportunities, and personal and professional development to equestrian workers in a caring, respectful environment.

Full Report of the Feedback Survey Results

The Applied Research and Education Center (AREC) and the Backside Learning Center Education Committee collaborated in the design of a study to assess perceptions of the Backside Learning Center and programming needs among trainers and workers. The findings provide data to inform strategic planning in program development, communications, and fundraising.  The Backside Learning Center would like to thank the 40 trainers and 152 workers who participated in our feedback survey about the BLC’s services.
